Concept 870.1 C DW is the very new generation for an integrated unit especially designed for water washable plates production, letterpress and either flexographic, only type of brushes is changing, for 66 x 81 cm (26”x32”) size plates: exposure, processing, drying and finishing.
The DW section, a Degraf’s Concept, is a pre-washer system which allows to remove the black layer of the digital plates prior the plate goes into the processing area. Benefits are higher productivity, less cleaning maintenance and an ecological imprint onto the system. A high level of automation ensures the complete autonomy of the unit, which can therefore operate independently from the manual control of the operator. Thanks to the reduced overall dimensions, Concept 870.1 C DW is the perfect solution for restricted spaces, which are typical of the “narrow-web” and for label-making operations.
